How it works hero photo

Owned it longer? Your review counts more.

Zedevee only publishes reviews from declared EV owners, and gives longer ownership more weight. Here's how it works.

Ownership tiers

We count ownership from the moment you took delivery. You'll need to own the car for at least 6 months before you can review it.

  • Early owner

    6–12 months

    Weight ×1

  • Established owner

    1–2 years

    Weight ×2

  • Long-term owner

    2 years+

    Weight ×3

The owner score

A model's owner score is the weighted average of every eligible review, using the tier weights above, rounded to one decimal. A long-term owner's score counts three times as much as an early owner's — so scores start provisional and firm up as long-term reviews arrive.

Under 10 reviews we call it an early average and label it clearly.

  • Long-term owners (×3)9.0/10

  • Established owners (×2)8.4/10

Declared ownership

Declared owner is our only verification status. Owners confirm their ownership themselves; we do not carry out external vehicle checks.

  • Declared owner

An owner signs in and confirms they own or have owned the car. We take their word for it — no external check.
